BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) — One person was killed in a shooting late Thursday evening, according to Brooklyn Park Police.
The shooting happened on the 8000 block of Florida Avenue North. Officers arrived at the scene at about 10:20 p.m.
The victim had received a single gunshot wound to the head. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
Police took one person into custody at the juvenile detention facility.
The homicide remains under investigation.
