Legendary actor and former taskmaster of Gulder Ultimate Search, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, paid a surprise visit to the Amorokin camp to the excitement of the contestants.
The day began with the usual exercise routine before the contenders made their way to the task ground for their first individual task after the dissolution of the Amo, Irin and Iroko clans.
Toke Makinwa, the host, addressed the 10 remaining contenders on the day’s task, Memory Jog, which began with memorising six symbols and recollecting them in the correct order. Those who passed that stage moved forward where they were asked to dismantle a block wall with tennis balls and rebuild it to reveal an image of the new Gulder helmet.
A task that should have lasted thirty minutes extended towards six hours due to Chidinma and Osas, who found it impossible to build the wall correctly.
Instead of going to the place of the talking drum, Kunle Remi, the taskmaster, led them to a bonfire where Bob-Manuel was waiting for them. The former Gulder Ultimate Search taskmaster commended the warriors for going this far and gave them some important tips related to life in the jungle and after the reality TV show.
The contenders, too, shared their view about life in the jungle, especially how it has drilled discipline into them. They even entertained him with their camp song. The night ended with the warriors leaving the bonfire with roasted goat and cans of the new craft beer.
Or so they thought.
Waiting for them at Amorokin Camp was the host, Toke Makinwa, who came to carry out the task of evicting Osas, who failed to solve the day’s task.
