Jessica Chastain clings her first Oscar award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the “Eyes of Tammy Faye” at the 94th Annual Academy Award last night, Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Tony Kotsur won Best Supporting Actor, becoming the first deaf man to win an Academy Award for acting in the movie, CODA

“CODA” the coming of age comedy-drama film won all the three awards it was nominated for.

The show had a dramatic twist as Will Smith won the Best Actor for a Leading Role for his performance in the movie ‘King Richard’ shortly after smacking presenter Chris Rock in the face for making a joke on Jada, Smith’s wife.

It appeared to be part of the comic script as Chris was roasting some of the nominees.

After the audible slap, the humiliated Chris responded with another joke, “Oh Wow, Wow! Smith just smacked the shit out of me,” causing the audience to laugh.

But it wasn’t a joke, and it was clear when Smith, back to his seat, shouted to the comedian to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.
