Canadian singer Justin Bieber is asking his millions of followers for prayers as he’s been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that can cause facial paralysis.
The singer posted the news on Instagram just a few days after having to cancel some tour dates because of health issues. He pointed out that the right side of his face couldn’t move because he could only smile and blink on the left side.
In the nearly three-minute video, he said, “It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear—my facial nerves—and has caused by face to have paralysis. So for those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just physically, obviously, not capable of doing them. This is pretty serious, as you can see.”

To avoid a surprise parking ticket, the Agence de mobilité durable de Montréal is asking drivers to switch over to a new app called Mobicité, available now on iOS and Android.

Much like the old P$ app, Mobicité lets you pay for on-street parking and some city lots right from your phone. It charges the same $0.07 transaction fee, and adds a few handy new features, including:

A warning 10 minutes before your session ends

The ability to manage multiple credit cards

A live timer showing how much time you have left

There's also a web version in the works, which should help drivers without smartphones.

One key thing to know: your data from the old app won't transfer. You'll need to create a fresh account on Mobicité. If you want access to your past parking history, you'll need to log in to your old P$ account on the agency's website and download it before December 15, 2025, as it'll be permanently deleted after that date.

The old app, which was developed by Passport and not the city itself, faced criticism for buggy performance, crashes, and connectivity issues. So the Agence tapped Quebec-based Mirego to build Mobicité from the ground up.

You can download Mobicité on the App Store or Google Play, and start using it today. Just don't forget to switch over before July 31 — unless you enjoy fumbling with coins, squinting at faded screens, and frantically running back to feed the metre like it's 2005.

Love this?

Once you've successfully completed the training stage and are officially qualified as a Flight Service Specialist, your salary will increase to a minimum of $75,483. It's a pretty hefty bump up after just a year of training!

The salary for this role can climb to $118,953 at its maximum, which means there's plenty of financial growth available for the best candidates. However, salaries that big don't come without a little sacrifice, naturally. In some cases, you will be required to relocate or travel to remote locations across Quebec.

There are currently permanent openings in the following locations:

Iles-de-la-Madeleine

Mont-Joli

Rouyn

Sept-Îles

Val d'Or

There's more good news, though. A relocation incentive is offered for anybody who moves to these regions to take on the job. It's paid out in addition to your salary each year, starting at $3,000 in the first year and then increasing to $5,000 in year two and $7,000 in year three.

If a fly-in and fly-out routine sounds more like a fit for you, there are also openings in Kuujjuaq and La Grande. In such cases, you'll spend a set amount working on-site and then back home—for example, 14 days on-site and 14 days off at home. NAV CANADA covers the cost of travel for the fly-in and fly-out locations.

It's worth keeping in mind, though, that locations are not assigned until after the initial training course is successfully completed.

Although you don't need any specific experience or a degree-level education to apply, there are a few qualities you must have to be considered a good fit.

NAV Canada is looking for individuals who are highly motivated, have excellent teamwork skills, can multitask and problem-solve, and have a great memory.

You'll also need to be at least 18 years old, have a secondary school diploma (or equivalent), be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and be bilingual in French and English.

You must also be prepared to complete cognitive testing for the required competencies, including language testing and testing at an assessment centre. The process also includes a medical and drug test and a security check.

Finally, you must be prepared to relocate to any of the locations listed above after the initial training period.

Flight Service Specialist – Airport Advisory Services (AAS)
