Video director Clarence Peters has emerged as the Most Popular Video Director after beating TG Omori, Director K, Dammy Twitch, Unlimited LA and Edem Victor.
The cinematographer who won the category amassed 36.2% of the total votes in just seven days of the nominee announcement. TG Omori followed with 26.4%, Dammy Twitch with 12.9%, Director K with 10.8%, Edem Victor with 10.4% and Unlimited LA with 3.3%.
Clarence Peters has built a legacy over the years, from shooting music videos and shooting films to launching music brands. He is simply the pacesetter.
The filmmaker born to Clarion Chukwura and Sir Shina Peters has been in the industry since 1998 and has shot iconic music videos, including Tiwa Savage’s ‘Eminado’, 9ice’s ‘Street Credibility’ and Davido’s ‘Aye’.
Data for the 15 voting categories for NET Honours Class of 2022 were sourced from over 21,000 voters who had voted for the favourites via the voting platform between June 22 – June 29, 2022.
