Desperate search for missing five-year-old in Western Australia

A desperate search is underway for a missing five-year-old boy in Western Australia.

Avkan Oso Vorkoeper is believed to be with a family member.

In recent days he is believed to have been travelling in a Toyota Fortuner with WA registration 1GCQI081.

Police said it is believed the car has since left WA, but it's not known if Avkan is interstate or not.

There are concerns for his safety and welfare, with an appeal launched nationwide.

Anybody with information, or who sees the car, is urged to contact police on 131 444.
