A Queensland man is recovering in hospital after using Apple's Siri voice assistant to call for help when he was trapped in a freak farming accident.
Steve Pfeffer was trapped for more than an hour this afternoon when part of his tractor collapsed on top of him in the Scenic Rim, west of the Gold Coast.
Wife Jules Pfeffer said he used Siri to call for help before their neighbour ran to the rescue.

"He heard the crash and he heard Steve singing out for help," she said, of the neighbour.
"And he went down and he relieved the pressure off his legs and held his neck and spine until eventually the ambos arrived."
Mr Pfeffer was flown from their Charlwood farm to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he was in a stable condition.
