Calabar’s Premiere Urban Radio station, Hit 95.9 FM, has announced that the Calabar Entertainment Conference (CEC) will be back for its 7th edition on Friday, October 6, 2023.
The conference themed ‘Uniting Creativity And Business In Entertainment’ will explore the synergy between the advertising and entertainment industry while employing the expertise of industry-leading personalities to discuss legal rights, intellectual property, and the complex world of contracts.
CEC will feature insightful panel discussions led by industry experts, including Efa Iwara: A talented actor known for his versatility on both stage and screen, Denrele Edun: A fashion icon and media personality with a unique and captivating style, Steve BabaEko: An advertising guru who leads X3M Ideas the agency that broke a 70-year jinx to become Nigeria and West Africa’s first agency to win at the Cannes Lions Festival in 2023.
In line with the conference theme, artistes like Majeeed would also join the conversation as he is set to perform singles from his recently released EP ‘Cheers To Life.’
Since 2016, CEC has been setting the stage to tackle and give viable solutions to issues faced by artistes and entertainment industry professionals working both in and outside the region. The seventh edition will be held at the Cultural Centre Complex in Calabar, Cross River State on Friday, October 6, 2023.
