It wasn’t quite Men against Boys in Penticton on Monday, but it felt that way for long stretches as a more experienced crew of Vancouver Canucks Rookies took care of their counterparts from Edmonton Oilers 5-2 to wrap up the 2023 Young Stars Classic. The Canucks featured no fewer than four players who played NHL games a year ago, while Edmonton had none and just four who played even as high as the AHL.
