Three months after the release of her first single of the year, ‘Higher,’ Nissi has released a new single, ‘Nobody’ featuring award-winning Nigerian artiste Fireboy DML.
‘Nobody,’ produced by TSB, Eyes, and Kiyag, blends Fireboy’s unique flow with Nissi’s sultry vocals on a track that tells a beautiful love story with an addictive melody. A melody and chemistry that have left fans addicted to their sound.
‘Nobody sounds so great that you would think this is their 10th song together; such is the level of harmony between the two of them on the song,’ One fan said.
In the space of five months, Fireboy has released two new singles – Someone and Yawa – while featuring on hit singles like Shallipopi’s ‘Elon Musk,’ Jon Batiste’s ‘Drink Water,’ Cheque’s ‘Hustler,’ with Nissi’s ‘Nobody’ being the latest addition to that list.
Nissi Ogulu is a singer and songwriter who debuted in 2016, three years after her brother and Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy debuted. Since her debut, she has released multiple hit singles, including ‘Ignite,’ ‘Gravity,’ and more, while releasing her debut EP ‘IGNITE’ in 2020.
Seven years later, her consistency and musicality have placed her among some of the fast-rising Nigerian acts to look out for in the coming year.
