Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, Ilebaye has demanded an apology from her colleague, Seyi Awolowo over a comment he made during the show.
The reality TV star insisted that Seyi must apologize to her parents for making derogatory remarks about how she was brought up.
Naija News recalls that Seyi had during their stay on the reality show said Ilebaye lacks home training.
Reacting during an interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Ilebaye argued that she is well brought up.
She asserted that her parents took their time in grooming her into the person that she is.
Ilebaye, however, revealed that she has forgiven Seyi but insisted that he must apologize to her parents.
Chude said: “Seyi said you don’t have home training. What’s your response to that?”
Ilebaye responded: “My parents trained me so well, and that’s what I’m proud of and I’m grateful to my mum and dad for taking their time to groom me to become who I am today.
“So, I will just tell Seyi, thank you; that’s all I can say. If he sees my parents, he should apologize to them, not me. I’m cool, I have forgiven him.”

Well, whether you're flying out or driving down, Canada's latest travel advisory might give you pause.

Although the government's U.S. advisory was updated on June 3, the real shift happened back in April. That's when Canada first warned travellers about ramped-up U.S. border scrutiny — including a major new policy that limits foreign stays to 30 days unless you're officially registered with the U.S. government.

According to the advisory, American border agents are also allowed to search your phone, laptop, or tablet without reason, and you might be asked to hand over passwords. If you refuse, "they may seize your device," the government warns. "The border agent could also delay your travel or deny entry."

But that's not all. U.S. officers have what Canada calls "significant discretion," meaning they can ask for proof of your travel plans, financial situation, and ties to Canada — like a job, school enrollment, or permanent address.

As for the new 30-day rule, Canadians and other foreign nationals must be registered with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) if they plan to stay longer. If you skip that step, you could face fines, penalties, or even misdemeanour charges. You can check your registration status by looking up your I-94 admission record on the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) website.

What's driving the warning? Tensions between the two countries have been on the rise in the past few months, with trade disputes and pointed remarks from U.S. President Donald Trump stirring up backlash.

Combined with the new entry rules, that's already had an impact: in April, Statistics Canada reported that transborder travel fell by nearly 6% compared to last year, including a 10.1% drop in U.S.-bound passengers at Montréal-Trudeau.

But if you're still planning a trip, the government recommends putting your phone on airplane mode before reaching the border and being cooperative. Refusing to comply could lead to denied entry or even detention.

Canada's full U.S. travel advisory can be found here.

Love this?
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Military announced yesterday that a total of six Kuriga students who were recently rescued from kidnappers are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

In a statement issued on Monday, the General Officer of 1 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Mayirenso Saraso, stated that the hospitalized students will be handed over to the state government once they are deemed medically fit by the doctors.

Naija News reports that Saraso revealed this information after delivering 131 Kuriga children to the Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, at the Government House.

The unfortunate incident occurred on March 7, 2024, when bandits invaded the LEA Primary School and Government Secondary School in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna, and abducted the students.

Fortunately, the military successfully rescued the students in Zamfara State on Sunday morning.

It could be recalled that the bandits had demanded a ransom of N1 billion for their release and set a deadline of March 27.

Nevertheless, the federal government clarified that no ransom was given to secure the students’ freedom.
