Almost five years after Burna Boy’s groundbreaking performance at Coachella, Nigerian stars Tems and Spinall are set to join the lineup of stars featured in this year’s festival.
They will perform at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, alongside headliners Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, and Doja Cat. The festival will be held over two weekends, April 12-14 and 19-21.
Fast-rising South African pop star Tyla will also be joining the lineup alongside acts like Jon Batiste, Peso Pluma, J Balvin, DJ Snake, Ice Spice and a host of other artistes across other genres.
In the past two years, Coachella has had issues with headliners. From Kanye West pulling out at the last minute in 2022 to sort out personal issues to Frank Ocean dropping out for his second set for a reported ankle injury. Regardless of how this lineup changes, Nigerians are in anticipation of what our stars are bringing to the stage.
