Police hold "grave concerns" for a missing flight attendant and his former TV presenter partner after blood was found at a Sydney home and on property in a skip bin.

Officers located items belonging to Luke Davies, 29, and his partner, ex-Ten presenter Jesse Baird, 26, in the bin outside Club Cronulla on Wilbar Avenue at Cronulla about 11am yesterday.

A worker at the club found the items – including a phone, credit card, clothes and keys – inside the bin and contacted police.

Investigators then attended a home at Brown Street in Paddington, where officers "immediately" established a crime scene after finding blood at the home.

Police went to Davies' home in Waterloo, but he has not been located.

Both men have been declared missing and the disappearances are being treated as suspicious.

"There has been some sort of incident that has occurred at the Paddington address," Detective Superintendent Jodi Radmore said.

Radmore said witnesses overheard shouting "coming from that vicinity" on Monday morning but did not report it to police.

Luke Davies is a flight attendant. A search is under way to locate him after blood was found at a Paddington home and on property in a Cronulla bin. Jesse Baird is a former television presenter.

Both men were last seen on Monday, however, one was active on social media on Tuesday night, police confirmed.

Davies' family has been unable to contact him and he has not been to work.

Three cars have been seized as part of the investigation, belonging to both Baird and Davies.

The Paddington address is still being processed by detectives, with the help of the Homicide and Missing Persons Squads.

When asked if a third person could have been involved in the men's disappearances, Radmore said the "primary line of inquiry" was finding Davies and Baird.
