IT’S Amazon Prime Day and there are gadget deals to be had.
I test gadgets for a living so I know a good deal when I see one – and wow, there are big savings today.

The Apple AirPods Max are my favorite deal of Prime Day so far[/caption]
We probably won’t see big discounts from Amazon again until Black Friday.
So if you don’t fancy waiting until just before Christmas for your gadget purchases, here are five buys to consider today.
SEAN’S PICK #1 – APPLE AIRPODS MAX

My headline pick is on the Apple AirPods Max.
Normally these wireless headphones are out of reach for a lot of people, because they usually cost $549. Wow.
But today they’re down to just $395 for Amazon Prime members.
It’s an enormous discount on Apple’s most premium headphones.
And I’ve checked the Amazon trackers and this looks like it’s the lowest price ever. Don’t miss this one – it’s a really good price.
SEAN’S PICK #2 – APPLE AIRPODS (2ND GEN)

If that’s too much for you, you can grab a pair of regular second-generation Apple AirPods (the kind that go in your ears, not over them) for $69.
That’s down from $129 and – better still – doesn’t even require a Prime membership.

SEAN’S PICK #3 – AMAZON ECHO POP

Amazon has also discounted some of its own audio gear.
There’s a great discount on the Amazon Echo Pop.
That’s the small Alexa speaker that you control with your voice.
The Echo Pop is exceptionally good value for money at $17.99[/caption]
They’re available in a bunch of fun colors like Midnight Teal and Lavender Bloom.
Normally it’s $39.99 – but a 55% discount brings that down to $17.99.
It gets the Sean seal of approval.
This is also the lowest price we’ve seen at Amazon, so that’s something to think about.
SEAN’S PICK #4 – SAMSUNG GALAXY S24 ULTRA

There are some great deals on Samsung gadgets.
If you’ve got the cash to put down, you can shave a massive 25% off the price of one of Samsung’s latest phones.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra – with 256GB of storage and a 50-megapixel zoom camera – is down from $1,300 to $975.
A $325 price cut is nothing to sniff at.
And the phone isn’t even a year old.

Another Samsung deal gets you an Apple Watch rival for a very low price.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 came out last year and has an official price of $299.99.
But for Prime Day it’s down to just $159.99.
Like an Apple Watch, it’ll track your heart rate, help you monitor your sleep, and – of course – tell you the time.
