The city’s Flag Market played host to its latest Euros Fanzone as England fans endured a penalty shootout.
Gareth Southgate’s side took Switzerland to extra-time and then Jordan Pickford’s heroics combined with a rock solid penalty performance mean they progress to the semi-finals.
Football fans enjoyed warm sunshine on the Flag Market as the big screen was fired up once more for the pop-up event organised by Preston’s Business Improvement District.

Hundreds of England fans packed into the city’s main square and exploded into life when Saka’s equaliser went in off the Swiss post.
But it was a nervous extra-time period before the torture of penalties, so often England’s downfall, but Southgate’s side made it through and will face the Netherlands on Wednesday (10 July) at 8pm.
The Fanzone returns for Wednesday evening, with tables already sold out, but standing places left at £6 per ticket.
