Costco Canada’s early Black Friday deals are here, and this year, the wholesale giant is bringing major savings you don’t want to miss.
From groceries to electronics and everything in between, there are discounts of up to $1,000 on must-have items. But what’s even better is that you actually don’t need a membership to shop most of these Costco deals — provided you know how.
For Black Friday 2024, Costco’s sale in Quebec includes a wide range of categories, like tech, home improvement, clothing and more, with some of the biggest savings on electronics like TVs, laptops and smart devices.
While Costco members can snag deals both in store and online, non-members can actually still shop the vast majority of the online selection with just a small 5% surcharge. And don’t worry — with discounts this big, that extra fee barely makes a dent in your savings.
How to shop without a membership
For non-members, the key to accessing Costco’s Black Friday 2024 deals is to head to Costco online. Most items are available to everyone, except for a few “members only” products that are clearly labelled on the website.
The 5% surcharge applies to all other products, but here’s a tip: If you’re planning a big haul, consider getting the basic Gold Star membership, which is $65 for the whole year. If you’re spending $1,300 or more before the 5% surcharge, it pays for itself.

- Laptops: Get up to $200 off laptops, like the ASUS VivoBook 15 that’s $150 off.
- TVs: Deals include $1,000 off the Hisense 100″ U88N Series 4K QLED Mini LED Pro TV and $800 off Samsung’s 65″ The Frame TV. Or, if you’re looking for something smaller with fewer bells and whistles, there are TV deals for every budget, like $150 off the LG 50″ QNED80T Series.
- Smartphones: Snag up to $300 off best-in-class phones like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB.
- Smart home gadgets: Bring your home online with $60 off the Google Nest 3rd Generation Learning Thermostat.
- Smartwatches: You can save $80 on the Samsung Galaxy Watch7, and $135 on the Ultra version.
- Headphones and speakers: Get up to $210 off home audio must-haves like the Bose QuietComfort Headphones — which are nearly 50% off — the Sonos Beam 2nd Gen. Soundbar for $170 off, and $80 off a pair of Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds.
Whether you’re in the market for a home upgrade, a tech splurge or just some holiday gifting, Costco’s deals are worth checking out. Non-members can save big online, and members should check out the deals in their local warehouse as there could be even more savings in warehouses.
