The United States President, Donald Trump has laid out an ambitious vision for the nation’s future, promising unparalleled success and declaring a renewed pursuit of greatness, including sending astronauts to Mars.
He urged Americans to “act with courage, vigour and the vitality of history’s greatest civilisation,” calling for ambition to reach “new heights of victory and success.”
Trump announced plans to expand the nation’s wealth and territory while setting his sights on space exploration.
“We will pursue our manifest destiny into the stars, to plant the stars and stripes on planet Mars,” he said, pledging to carry the US flag into new horizons.
Acknowledging his political resurgence, Trump said,
“I stand before you as proof that you should never believe something is impossible to do. In America, doing the impossible is what we do best.”
He assured the nation of its sovereignty and resilience, declaring,
“We will not fail. From this day on, the United States of America will be a free, sovereign and independent nation.”
Trump declared, “The future is ours, and our golden age has just begun.”
