Vance quipped to Johnson that the speech was going to be “great” before saying: “ I don’t know how you do this for 90 minutes.”

It prompted the Speaker, who presided over Biden’s final State of the Union address, to slam Trump’s predecessor.

“’The hardest thing was doing it during Biden when the speech was a stupid campaign speech,” he said.

Almost immediately after making the dig, Johnson then pushed the mic down.

Biden was defiant during his final State of the Union address in March 2024.

He wanted to prove his doubters wrong that he wasn’t too old to seek re-election.

Biden’s address was around four months before he abandoned his re-election bid.

Johnson’s quip didn’t go unnoticed on social media.

One viewer chimed on X that Johnson is slowly winning him over.
