A village in South Ribble has better access to Post Office services after the new location opened last week.
The Post Office has moved from Clayfields Pharmacy to the neighbouring premises at the Spar on Alder Drive following consultation earlier this year.
The service point is located alongside the retailer counter and means an extra 47.5 hours of service every week compared to the previous site, according to Post Office calculations.

Postmaster Bhavesh Parekh said: “I’m so pleased to be taking on the Post Office as part of our store. I know how much the Post Office service means to people in Gregson Lane and my team and I are really looking forward to welcoming new customers.
“I’ve been growing our business for four years with a wider offering for the local community so it’s great to now add Post Office services to our store and really be the one-stop-shop for local people and visitors.”
The opening was marked by a visit from Maya Ellis, MP for the Ribble Valley constituency which is home to Gregson Lane, and with free cake for customers.
