Longridge House opened its doors to the local community on Saturday (27th September) to celebrate their open house launch event.
Family-run hospitality group Elle R Leisure took over what was formerly Ferraris Country House in November 2024 and since then they have completely transformed it, giving it a cosy, country, modern look.
The launch event gave the guests a taste of what Longridge House has to offer. With free drinks and food tokens on arrival, each guest was made to feel warmly welcomed.

Throughout the afternoon, live bands played music for guests, fire-cooked food was served and members of staff mingled with guests to inform them about the incredible work that has gone into bringing Longridge House to life.
Guests were free to walk round the house, with access to view some of the bedrooms.

Lucy McCarthy, managing director of Elle R Leisure said: “I think we’ve done it well and in quite good time since we only bought it last November. So far I’m really happy, just seeing everyone’s faces when they walk in is really lovely.
“We feel like we’re part of the community already, everyone’s been super welcoming and super appreciative and happy with what we’ve done.”
“Now it’s really just spreading the word, letting people know what we do and welcoming as many people as possible whether that’s the restaurant or staying over in the bedrooms or coming for any kind of event that they want.”
Longridge House holds a variety of different spaces for all types of events, from afternoon tea in the Drawing Room to a wedding or party in the Garden Room.
Longridge House has quickly established itself as a key wedding venue in the area. The new team is committed to ensuring a smooth transition by honouring the four existing wedding bookings made under the former Ferraris ownership.
With bespoke wedding packages that cover everything from the reception and decor to a menu suitable to your needs, they are prepared to host any kind of event.

As well as space for events, there are 23 country-luxe style bedrooms and 2 cottages that reflect the beautiful countryside surroundings.

The attention to detail, from the calming decor to welcoming four−legged companions in select dog-friendly rooms, reflects the Elle R Leisure commitment to creating an accessible and luxurious country escape.
Lucy McCarthy wrapped up the afternoon’s success by reiterating the vision. She said: “We love the building, we love the gardens, we love the location, you couldn’t get anything more picturesque. It’s just so peaceful and calm, and we wanted that to be reflected in the decor and how we set everything out, quite muted, quite calm.”

With the launch a clear success, Longridge House is now officially open for bookings for events, dining, and overnight stays.
