Kyra MilnesThe Harris Communities & Volunteers Officer, said: “A key part of my role is helping to make sure that the Harris hears what young people want and need. I love helping young people to be able to have the confidence to speak out about what is important to them.

“We have come a long way over the past 5 years through listening to what young people tell us – we now have a fantastic new space in which young people will hopefully feel comfortable in and empowered enough be themselves and enjoy it.

“We believe in them and want to show them that they belong here. The Arts does so much good for improving mental health, strengthening identity, and feeling accepted – get involved.”

As well as recruiting new members in the youth panel, Harris offers volunteering in event support, leading tours, and marketing distribution, for young adults above 16.
