Screen spotlight: What’s on in Preston cinemas 31 October to 6 November

In terms of big new releases, there is only one theatrical feature film joining the lineup across Preston this week, and that is Bugonia. A new collaboration between director Yorgos Lanthimos and actor Emma Stone. If it’s anything like their previous film, Poor Things, it’s likely to be very artsy, elaborate, and slightly absurd.

Beyond Bugonia, there are plenty of exciting event listings and exclusive showings in each of the cinemas around Preston. This is all of the unique listings playing between Friday, the 31st of October, and Thursday, the 6th  of November.

Back to the Future is back on the big screen 40 years after the film first debuted. This is a major milestone for a landmark sci-fi film, and as such, cinemas across Preston are making a big deal of the movie with special merch on sale, and even a DeLorean parked up outside The Arc Cinema for fans to snap a photo with.
