Not sure what things to do in Bristol this weekend? Whatever the weather, whatever your mood, we’ll always have you covered. Be it the best restaurants and gigs to awesome art galleries and bottomless brunches, we’ve got you weekend sorted.
Bristol Christmas Market

The most magical time of year returns to Broadmead shopping district, with over 40 unique festive stalls packed full of gifts, treats, crafts, and more, at Bristol Christmas Market. Plus, every Thursday to Sunday, the Jäger Barn Bar will host live music from a variety of local performers, and keep an eye out for Santa himself, alongside elves on stilts, bubble-blowing soldiers, balloon artists, and Christmas choirs.
Simple Things

Simple Things will once again take over some of Bristol’s most iconic venues for a day and night of boundary-pushing live and electronic music. Expect performances from groundbreaking artists, rising talents and industry legends, like Dry Cleaning, These New Puritans, Factory Floor, Rich(ard) Dawson, Iglooghost and World Snooker Champion, DJ and Bristol resident, Steve Davis.
Gurt Haunted

Described as “Most Haunted Live meets This Country”, Gurt Haunted is the part-improvised, part-devised, fully Bristolian comedy thriller that’s become a sell-out success. Following Sir Francis Hailbop and his team of world-renowned spiritualists, mediums and ‘professional investigators’, the paranormal parody is helping put the spirits of Bristol to rest. You can learn more here.
The Festival of Light

Longleat is bringing a spectacle of colour, light and ‘British icons’ to these cold months. Its legendary lantern trail, The Festival of Light, returns to Europe’s first safari park with a little help from Bristol’s very own Wallace and Gromit. Your favourite Aardman characters from Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run, Morph and more, welcome you to the UK’s most famous landmarks remade in lantern form—like Tower Bridge, Stonehenge, Blackpool and West Wallaby Street.
Topshop

Topshop is back with an exclusive pop-up at Bristol’s John Lewis store. Taking centre stage on the womenswear floor, expect a curated selection of around 30 fashion-forward pieces, changing weekly—from outerwear to partywear. Running up until Christmas, the pop-up comes ahead of a full-scale launch of Topshop in February 2026.
