Preparations have been finalised for the AmaZulu king Misuzulu KaZwelithini to tie the knot with Queen Nomzamo Myeni at the Royal Palace in Nongoma in northern KwaZulu-Natal.
Meanwhile, the Myeni family members are singing at the Royal Palace.
Dora Myeni from the Queen’s family says the family is happy to be at the Zulu Royal family.
“We are about to slaughter the cow as we are here at the kraal. This is the confirmation that she has been accepted to the royal family. This cow is important than anything as it is a sign that the family welcomes her and this is a cow where we will get bile to sprinkle on the groom registering him as a new family member to the ancestors. So, we say Halalala!”
