There are severe delays and lanes closed on the M6 after a multi-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash at junction 21 of the M6 on the northbound carriageway at around 7.50am on Monday (8 December).
Two lanes of the carriageway were blocked as a result and there were serious delays reported.

Congestion is back to junction 20 of the M6 and there is approximately 35 minutes of delays compared to normal travel time.
North West Ambulance Service and National Highways traffic officers were called to the scene.
