The Christmas season is here, and cinemas across Preston are celebrating with a host of holiday films for all audiences. But before you book tickets to the classics, there are a couple of big new releases out this week.

Eternity arrives in cinemas this week after an earlier release last month in the States. The film stars Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner in a supernatural romantic comedy. Olsen plays Joan, a woman who recently passed away in her old age and is now faced with deciding with whom to spend her afterlife, her beloved husband of several decades, or her first husband, who passed away as a young man.

Next up is Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, a teen horror film based on the popular video game franchise. Josh Hutcherson returns as Mike Schmidt, a security guard who faced off against living animatronic creatures in the last film. This sequel takes terror to the next level as the history of these monstrous mechanisations is revealed.

So, without further ado, this is all of the unique listings playing between Friday, the 5th, and Thursday, the 11th of December.
