Two roads in Bamber Bridge have seen significant flooding after pipes burst leaving the town without water.
The pipe that has burst on Brindle Road has been identified as the cause of the outage, with police closing the road due to the amount of water on the road.
A second leak was on Kingsway and likewise saw large amounts of water cover the road.

Blog Preston understands that the two burst pipes are linked but that it is the Brindle Road incident which has caused the outage.
United Utilities said that they intend to re-route water around the pipe network to return supply to Bamber Bridge while repair work takes place.
Residents first reported the issue on Brindle Road earlier in the week when water became visible on the road.
Blog Preston has asked United Utilities why no action was taken to remedy the issue at that point in time.

A United Utilities spokesperson said: “Our engineers have been responding to two bursts in the area, in order to keep customers on supply while we carry out repairs we’ve been re-routing water around our network of pipes.
“You may notice your water pressure is lower than normal or there may be fluctuations during peak times. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank our customers for their patience while our team work quickly to carry out repairs.”
