Chief executive of the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce who organise the awards, Babs Murphy, said: “The BIBAs celebrates the achievements of the Lancashire business community, our diverse sectors, incredible workforce and for many, the pinnacle of their year.

“I would encourage businesses of all shapes and sizes to enter because this year that famous trophy could have your name on it.

“The BIBAs is much more than just an awards night, they are an inspirational event and a catalyst for growth, prosperity and innovation for our amazing county.”

The deadline for entries is 27 March and entries are free to do via the BIBAs website.

The key dates are a BIBAs application bootcamp on 12 February for those who feel they need guidance, 14 May for stage one interviews, 18 May the finalists are announced, during June the judges go on tour and on 18 September the winners are crowned at the ceremony at Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom.
