Whitley Bay, January 2026 – Local housebuilder Story Homes has continued its support for grassroots sport by donating £500 to Whitley Bay Sporting Club’s Senior Lionesses.

The funding has been used to purchase new team jackets, helping players feel proud and united as a team both on and off the pitch.

This latest partnership builds on Story Homes’ ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots and community sport. The team plays its home games close to Robinson Fields, where Story Homes has recently released the final phase of the development, which is now 95% sold. The development offers a range of two to five-bedroom homes, designed for modern living and meeting the needs of a wide range of customers.

Kye Bradley, Sales Director for Story Homes North East, said:

“We’re delighted to once again support the Whitley Bay Senior Lionesses. At Story Homes, we’re passionate about making a positive difference in the communities where we build, and supporting local sports teams is a fantastic way to do that. The Lionesses are a brilliant example of teamwork, determination and community spirit, and we’re proud to be a part of their journey.”
