2026 is off to a great start with numerous new releases, and this week is no different, with another selection arriving in theatres.

Send Help is a highly anticipated new horror thriller directed by Sam Raimi. The film follows an obnoxious boss, played by Dylan O’Brien, and his overworked and underappreciated employee, played by Rachel McAdams, as tragedy strikes and they end up trapped on an island together. The power dynamics start to shift.

The Strangers: Chapter 3 sees Madelaine Petsch return as Maya in what promises to be the darkest and most thrilling entry in the series to date.

100 Nights of Hero has made the rounds at film festivals and now arrives for a limited release at The Arc. The film is based on a book by writer Isabel Greenberg. It’s a historical fantasy with some well-known faces sprinkled in for good measure.

My Father’s Shadow has also been popular among film festival circuits and now arrives in theatres in Preston. The film follows two young Nigerian brothers as they travel across their country during a period of political unrest ahead of the 1993 election crisis
