The Guild Lounge’s monthly comedy club returns this June with another top line-up of comedy talent.
Taking place on Friday 5 June, Laughter at The Lounge will feature performances from Gavin Webster, Faizan Shah and Matt Bragg.
Gavin Webster is described as a cult favourite on the UK comedy circuit, renowned for his fearless, anarchic style and razor-sharp improvisation. A true comedian’s comedian, Gavin combines intelligent writing with unpredictable energy, delivering bold and offbeat stand-up that keeps audiences on their toes.
Faizan Shah is known as a fast-rising comic bringing sharp observations and a confident, contemporary voice to the stage. With slick delivery and clever takes on identity, culture and everyday life, Faizan is quickly establishing himself as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents.
Matt Bragg delivers laid-back, cleverly crafted stand-up packed with dry wit and understated punchlines. Known for his smart writing and effortless delivery, Matt has supported Ricky Gervais on tour, cementing his reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting and quietly brilliant rising stars.

A Preston City Council spokesperson said: “Promising an evening of sharp wit, big laughs and unforgettable performances, Laughter at The Lounge continues to showcase some of the very best comedians on the UK circuit.
“Each month, audiences can enjoy a carefully curated line-up of established names and rising stars, ensuring that no two comedy nights are ever the same.”
Laughter at The Lounge returns to Preston’s Guild Lounge on Friday 5 June at 8pm. Tickets are priced at £19 and are available from The Guild Hall website.
