Grimsargh’s annual field day basked in warm temperatures and sunshine once again as the parade made its way through the village.
Preston Road was shut off, not with temporary traffic lights for once, but with smiles, colourful costumes and samba drums.
The parade included Barbie fancy dress from Grimsargh St Michael’s Church of England Primary School and a Living History theme from Alston Lane Catholic Primary School.
