A six-year-old grade one learner who died in a crash in Ga-Masemola village outside Lebowakgomo in Limpopo last month has been laid to rest.

Three primary school learners died after the overloaded scholar transport they were travelling in caught fire, crashed into a rock and burst into flames.
Two of the learners were buried this weekend.
The third learner who has not been buried was burnt beyond recognition, and DNA results are still pending.
Spokesperson of the Masemola Taxi Association, Thapelo Sekgota, has called on scholar transport drivers to put the lives of passengers first

“I’m pleading to the department of Transport, whatever they promised to the community that they will make that road to be a tarred road they should do that, they should waiting for something like this to happen what’s happening right now they should have at least tried to fix it before this incident happen, when coming to overload, no one is perfect, but I am also pleading to the scholar transport to at least not to overload children when going to our school.”
