Fundraising lead for St Catherine’s, Tracy Foster, said: “Our Moonlight & Memories 2026 walk will soon be upon us. It’s not too late to gather your friends and family and join in this iconic walk from St Catherine’s Hospice.

“A huge thank you to our main event sponsors James Hall & Co. Ltd for partnering with the event for the third year running. We look forward to seeing a sea of pink for our largest fundraiser in this year’s calendar.”

The event is being sponsored for a third year by James Hall & Co, SPAR, who are headquartered in the North of England at Bluebell Way. Their affiliated butcher, Graham Eyes, is providing sausages and bacon for the sandwiches.

Marketing manager at James Hall & Co, Philippa Harrington, said: “Year after year the St Catherine’s Hospice Moonlight and Memories Walk attracts hundreds of people who walk in memory of a loved one.

“I think that is testament to the connection there is between the Hospice and the local community, and the high regard the Hospice is held in by people living in and around Preston. We are delighted to be sponsoring the event again and are looking forward to the occasion.”

Registration for the Moonlight and Memories walk closes on Tuesday (23 June) at 10pm and places can be booked via the St Catherine’s website. You can also sign up on the night itself, as long as you arrive in good time before the start of the walk. It’s £15 for an adult to take part and £10 for a child, via the online registration.
