A Fulwood school has been selected to represent England at an international football tournament.
Our Lady’s Catholic High School is preparing to represent England after becoming National Schools Champions for the second consecutive year.
The team secured their place at the International British Isles Schools Tournament after gaining victory in a final in May.

The tournament will take place at the National Sports Centre in Shropshire where the squad will spend three days competing in a series of high-quality fixtures.
Mrs Lin, PE Teacher and Team Manager at Our Lady’s Catholic High School, said: “To represent England is an incredible achievement and one that every member of our school community is immensely proud of.

“These young women have shown extraordinary commitment, resilience and teamwork throughout the season, and they thoroughly deserve this opportunity.
“They will be fantastic ambassadors for our school, our local community and for England.”
The team are looking for sponsors ahead of their competition which takes place from Monday 14 September to Wednesday 16 September.
