South Wales Police Youth Trust donate £10,000 to local gym.
Impact Neurofit are running a project provides structured fitness, mentoring, education and wellbeing programmes that create positive routines and supportive relationships for children, young people and adults, particularly those who are neurodivergent, living with mental health challenges or facing social disadvantage.
By providing safe spaces where individuals can develop confidence, resilience, discipline and self-worth, the programme offers meaningful alternatives to anti-social behaviour and negative peer influences.
The work contributes towards reducing anti-social behaviour, supporting vulnerable individuals, improving community cohesion and strengthening safeguarding opportunities.
It also provides a positive environment where important conversations around healthy relationships, violence prevention, respect, mental wellbeing and personal responsibility can naturally take place.
Inspector Andrew Phillips said “I fully support this project and believe the investment will create lasting benefits for the local community while contributing directly to the long-term priorities of South Wales Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner. The organisation has demonstrated both the vision and commitment required to become a sustainable community asset, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside them”
