It’s time to dust off those cobwebs and get ready for an epic Halloween night out in one of our city’s most famed museums. For just one frightful Friday this October – October 30, to be exact – a spooky silent disco will take over Bristol Museum.

Experience the city’s history like you never have before, as Bristol Museum’s Edwardian-Baroque architecture is illuminated by a vibrant light show and filled with all-time party anthems that’ll keep you dancing out into the street once the party is over.

What can you expect at Bristol Museum’s Halloween silent disco?

When you arrive at Bristol Museum for the silent disco, you’ll receive a set of state-of-the-art LED headphones, which you’ll then tune into a ‘station’ of your choice. There will be three different DJs on site, spinning the tunes straight into your ears – and you can flip between them throughout the night, meaning you are fully in control of your party playlist for the evening. Where else can you decide which DJ wins the battle for dance floor supremacy?!

The LED lights on the headphones light up a specific colour depending on the station you’re tuned into, so you can find your tribe and dance along to the same tunes together, or be on a totally different rhythm to whoever you’re boogying next to.

There are two sessions to choose from on October 30. The first session is from 7pm-9pm, perfect for my fellow millennials who either need to get back for the babysitter – or simply for their own bed! The second session is 9pm-11pm, ideal for those who are ready to dance the night away.

There’s no dress code for this spooky silent disco at Bristol Museum, so whether you go fancy dress or party casual, it’s your choice. And, while glow sticks aren’t allowed in the museum, you can purchase ‘disco essential packs’ at the venue to complete your look.
