GLL, a charitable social enterprise and worker-owned co-op operating under the Better brand, has invested more than £400,000 as part of its ongoing programme of improvements in the new facility. It features a host of exciting attractions designed to encourage children, young people and families to get active, have fun and enjoy time together.

New Attractions

Suitable for youngsters from 18 months, with under eight-year-olds requiring adult supervision, the state-of-the-art facility includes a huge strike arena play structure with obstacle course and interactive challenges; trampoline zone with interconnecting trampolines; and an interactive football pitch with target games while the centre’s popular Air Bag remains with the addition of a new jump tower and slide.

Improvements have also been made behind the scenes with the introduction of an online safety briefing video that will reduce waiting times when visitors arrive.

Sessions and Parties

Weekly programmed sessions include Parent and Toddler activities and SEND sessions. The facility can also be hired out for birthday parties for children aged 5 to 15. Party packages include 60 minutes of activity followed by a two-course meal in a dedicated party room and are available from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

The new zone complements the existing monster-themed Soft Play for children aged 10 and under which features ball pits, tunnels, slides and an obstacle course.
