Colombo, Feb 17 (NewsWire) – The Health Ministry has announced that measures have been taken to provide a fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine for those travelling overseas based on the vaccine requirements of the country.
Director- General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunwardena revealed that a special vaccination programme had been carried out previously for children travelling to Australia for higher education.
He further said that the Foreign Ministry has informed the Health Ministry on the special vaccination programmes and the Covid vaccines that are currently accepted in other nations.
