The first season of Flawsome ended on an awkward note for the lead cast. Bisola Aiyeola, one of the lead cast, has disclosed that things are not getting any better with the new seasons, as fans of the show should expect more drama.
She disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Netng at the new Showmax launch that doubled as the premiere for the newly acquired Showmax film ‘Dead Serious,’ which features one of the cast, Sharon Ooja.
“Flawsome Season 2 takes us on a different journey where every woman can relate to, and I cannot wait to watch it on the new Showmax,” she told Netng.
The new season delves deeper into the lives of these women, addressing pressing questions, including Ramat and Uduak’s rocky relationship, Dolapo’s career challenges, Ifeyinwa’s journey to independence from her father’s company, and Ivie’s personal relationships.
“It’s not about to get easy for Ifeyinwa. It’s still pretty rough, I can’t tell you now If it’s going to get smooth, but I can tell you it’s going to get very rough for Ifeyinwa,” Bisola had disclosed about her character’s woes in the series.
Beyond the drama, she also revealed that the show stands to teach viewers about the importance of having a sisterhood, opening up to friends and therapists and finding the light at the end of every tunnel.
Flawsome Season 2 welcomes award-winning writer Dami Elebe (Skinny Girl in Transit, The Men’s Club and Far From Home) as the head writer of the season. The new season is set to premiere exclusively on Showmax on February 12, 2024.
