An investigation is underway after police received reports of a man armed with a knife in Ribbleton.

A person walking their dog on Wednesday morning (2 April) at around 9am reported that a man on a bike had pulled a knife on them on Burholme Place.

The incident has caused extra concern locally due to how close it was to where Gary Carlisle was attacked in March. Burholme Place is around a five minute walk from Ribbleton Hall Drive.
