Emergency warning issued for out-of-control bushfire east of Perth

An emergency warning has been issued for an out-of-control bushfire east of Perth.

In an alert issued by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services just after 2pm today, the warning is for northern parts of Mokine in the Shire of Northam.

"Bushfire Emergency Warning – bounded by Bobakine Road to the north, Smith Road to the east and Spencers Brooke Road to the south, Spencers Brooke Road and Clackline-Toodyay Road to the west in the northern parts of Mokine in the Shire of Northam," the alert read.
