As Joni Mitchell once sang: “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.” Visiting family here in Edmonton from the U.K., I noticed two things that struck a chord with me. Riding a bus, I noticed as it approached a stop, a young man sitting in a seat for disabled passengers, saw an elderly lady with mobility issues about to board. He immediately vacated the seat.
