Nigel Farage Posted An AI Video Of Himself As A Grime Star And The Internet Has Thoughts

Nigel Farage has posted a bizarre AI video showing him as a rapper and DJ – and the online reaction has been as divided as you’d expect.

The Reform UK leader shared the clip on X, describing it as “a little bit of fun”.

The full-length video, called “Farage Like Garage”, is available on YouTube.

In it, the AI-generated Farage is seen DJ’ing in a club and dancing with a young woman.

In the clip he shared, the fake Farage performs a dance routine on Clacton Pier in his constituency while wearing a thick gold chain and white fur coat.

Lyrics can also be heard declaring: “You thought it was Farage – nah mate, Nigel Garage. Prime minister of the pub, of the pint, of the people. Bo selecta.”

So far, Farage’s post has been viewed 1.2 million times and shared 1,300 times.

On YouTube, the full video has been watched 38,000 times since it was first posted nine days ago.

PR specialist Rhea Freeman said Farage was simply looking for attention.

She told LBC: “It’s definitely got us all talking, and I guess if you want to get back into the spotlight again, if you’ve been out of the spotlight for a while, what you want is something that people go ‘what on earth is this’?

“I’ve watched it more times than I care to admit because it’s just so bizarre.”

Reaction to the video appeared to be more positive on Instagram and on Facebook, but the Reform leader has come in for criticism on X.

Many focused on the fact that it shows Farage, who has been accused of not visiting his constituency enough, in Clacton.
