A Longridge landlord has taken on his second venue in the town.
Jonny Waters, who runs Hilltop Brasserie, Market Place, has taken on The Durham Ox in Berry Lane after its former landlady, Irene Nuttall, retired after 20-years behind the bar.
With a three year lease from Trust Inns, the pub has already been redecorated and Jonny has further plans for the traditional boozer.

He said: “We want to make the room on the left as you enter the pub into a sports room and we have new TVs ready to go in there. While we have got rid of the pool table, we have kept the dartboard for the darts team and other people to use.
“At the back of the pub is a really big beer garden that no one really know is there. We want to create a live music venue out there and maximise the space.
“I really just want The Durham Ox to become a pub that the whole of Longridge can use and enjoy.”
Blog Preston reported earlier this year how Jonny had reopened the former Dog Inn pub as Hilltop Brasserie, with the business performing well since it started trading, he said.
