National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola has given the assurance that the suspected killer of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock will be arrested before the end of this weekend.
DJ Warras was gunned down on Tuesday outside a building at which his company had been providing security services in the Johannesburg CBD.
His memorial service was held in Sandton, Johannesburg, on Friday.
Speaking at the South African Police Service Safer Festive Season operations in Pretoria on Friday, Masemola said: “A suspect has been identified and he will be arrested before Monday, we will have the suspect arrested.”
“He is a known suspect, he will definitely, if not today, but over the weekend, that suspect will be arrested,” Masemola.
