A popular pub in rural Chorley is back open after being closed for the past month.
Malthouse Farm, a canalside pub at Moss Lane in Whittle-le-Woods operated by Greene King subsidiary Chef & Brewer, closed on 11 February before reopening on 9 March.
The group said that the improvements include an enhanced bar area, new furniture in the garden and new lighting and signage.

The hope is to attract more customers to its outside dining area during the summer period.
Sharon Young, general manager at the Malthouse Farm, said: “The Malthouse Farm has so much character and we’re delighted to have customers back in to enjoy all we have to offer.

“Over the 12 years I have been here, I have seen just how much this pub is loved by the community – it is more than bricks and mortar, this is a pub with people at its heart.
“We are here for customers who want to come in and unwind, pop in for a coffee or drink while walking the dog or relax over more leisurely meals and celebrations. Come in and see our new look today!”
