More than £2,500 has been raised to help a Ribbleton woman who is in the final months of her life.
Emma Pimley, 37, has been battling lung cancer for the past four years.
She’s now been told the cancer has spread to her lungs and is stage four.

Her sister-in-law, Sheryl, told Blog Preston: “She’s now in a wheelchair and has lost her voice.
“We just want to take it away from her, but we can’t. It’s terrible to see.
“Her partner Paul, my brother, has been a rock to her. And her kids too. You really feel for them.”

Emma, a mother-of-four, has seen more than £2,500 donated towards a £4,000 target to help with her funeral costs when the time comes.
Sheryl said a fundraiser taking place at the Wilbraham Club on Friday (19 June) is to help raise funds for Emma and her family ‘to make memories’ in the final months she has.
Running from 6pm until late there’s food, face painting, kids games, a tombola, bouncy castle, dance performances and more.
