Stephen’s brother Dave died of prostate cancer last year, and he said the money raised for the cause was ‘outstanding.’

He said: “I had lots of support from friends and family. A good friend, Steve Chippendale, assisted me throughout the event. My daughter and her several grandchildren cheered me along also.

“I was blown away by the customers of Booths who contributed by throwing money into a bucket. The total raised on the day was £163.05 for Cancer Research.”
